The Richland Hospital

The Richland Hospital is seeking a full-time, benefit-eligible Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting physicians and other providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The Certified Medical Assistant/LPN is responsible for assisting providers with patient examinations and care, administering injections and immunizations according to established protocols, and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role also serves as an important point of contact for patients by providing information, scheduling appointments, and managing communications.

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with examinations and patient care.
• Administer injections and immunizations following established procedures and provider direction.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the public.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, record accurate messages, and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Provide general information regarding hospital and clinic services.
• Participate in training and perform basic laboratory procedures as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care.

Education & Experience

• Medical Assistant Certification from an approved program required

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
  .
• Current CPR Certification required
  .
