Caregiver, Direct Support Professional​/ Direct Care

Role Overview:
This position involves providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a caregiver, you will build meaningful relationships, assist with daily activities, personal hygiene, and support participants in achieving their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will handle complex needs, including behavioral challenges, requiring patience and compassion.

• Help individuals grow, learn, and live well by fostering community involvement and participation in activities
• Support with personal care and behavioral needs
• Develop trust and meaningful relationships with participants
• Take initiative to promote independence and well-being

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred:
  Six months of experience in human services or related fields
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance
