This position involves building trusting relationships with clients and their families, understanding their unique needs, and delivering care that respects their dignity and independence.

Caregivers play a critical role in monitoring health conditions, administering basic medical care as needed, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals. • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or family members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Skills:

The required skills enable caregivers to provide safe and effective personal care, ensuring clients' physical needs are met with professionalism and empathy. Strong communication skills are essential for understanding client needs, coordinating with family members, and reporting to healthcare providers. Organizational skills help caregivers manage schedules, medication reminders, and documentation accurately. Preferred skills such as familiarity with EHR systems and specialized care training enhance the caregiver's ability to deliver tailored support and improve client outcomes.

Additionally, cultural sensitivity and language skills foster better connections with diverse client populations, enriching the caregiving experience.
