ACTIVITY AIDE

Park Manor is a 100% employee-owned Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Facility located in Park Falls, nestled in the heart of the Northwoods. It is Park Manor's mission to provide excellent quality care in an atmosphere of compassion, hospitality, and respect for the dignity of each person.

Expectation to complete feeding assistant training to assist residents with meals

• Plans and facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior and degree of involvement in facility activities. Alert Activity Director of any changes in usual resident interests or participation.
• Handles logistics to make events possible, such as making phone calls, managing inventory, training and motivating volunteers or employees, and coordinating transportation.
• Assists residents with leisure requests - writing cards/letters, radio or television, telephone calls, emails, games, obtaining books or independent leisure activities.
• Assists with resident meal service
• Assist residents outdoors as requested, for leisure, smoking breaks, etc.

1 Fulltime 4 days/week. Shift time 7am-3pm;
Every third weekend rotations required.
