Line Cook

The Osthoff Resort is an award-winning AAA Four Diamond property located on the beautiful shores of Elkhart Lake. Renowned for our warm hospitality, elegant accommodations, and exceptional culinary offerings, we host a wide range of events including lakeside weddings, conferences, and seasonal festivals.

We are seeking a Line Cook to join our banquet culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will assist with all aspects of banquet food preparation and execution, ensuring high standards and delivering memorable dining experiences.

• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all banquet event orders are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of standard menus, special menus, and 86 items
• Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and banquet team members
• Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation for all banquet functions
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
• Maintain a harmonious work environment
• All other duties as assigned

• 1-3 years of culinary experience, preferably in a high-volume banquet or resort setting
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holiday availability
• Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence
