Opportunity
Manage the overall service operations, membership sales, member relations and financial performance for a 300-member private club. Assurance of high-quality standards and personalized service levels are key to the performance of this position.
Specific Responsibilities
- Marketing:
Oversee Marketing Plans and Sales efforts with the assistance of Director – Sales and Marketing, DK to reach expected levels of membership sales. - Member Relations:
Insure that all members and guests of members receive high level of personalized service throughout all aspects of the club. That membership communication is ongoing regarding member programs, new initiatives, etc. Resolve all member problems and complaints in a timely manner. - Staffing:
To interview and select every associate of Riverbend personally; to insure that the highest quality individuals are selected to work in the operation. Comprehensive training and training certification of each associate is a key responsibility of the position. - Housekeeping and Maintenance:
Insure that all 31 guestrooms, public areas, restaurant/bar space and spa are kept in immaculate condition at all times. That an on-going process of Preventative Maintenance (both front and back of the house) is exercised throughout Riverbend property to insure optimal comfort and performance to its members. - Sales:
Grow membership to approximately 350 members. Increase annual sales through - Landscaping:
That a quality program of garden care is maintained through coordination with Kohler Landscape to insure naturally attractive outdoor environs to enhance the private seclusion of Riverbend property. - Reservations:
Oversee member reservations for lodging, spa, dining, golf and other activities, insuring that members have access to their requested activities when they have stated. - Food & Beverage:
Oversee the quality, style and flow of the fine dining facility, bar and room service operations with both Chef and Dining Room Supervisor reporting directly to this position. Knowledge of wine required. - Accounting:
Insure daily accounting and audit procedures are completed accurately and in a timely fashion. This includes daily revenue reporting, cash deposits, monthly membership billings, monthly inventory, and payroll reporting as stated in the Standard Operating Procedures for Hospitality Accounting. - Budgets:
Responsible for constructing an annual financial plan outlining revenue growth and expense management in line with long term business projections and strategic planning.
Skills/Requirements
- Four year college degree; preferably in Hospitality or Business Management as a major.
- A minimum of ten years experience in hotel or private club management, along with a range of experience in Food/Beverage (fine dining) operations, housekeeping, guest (member) services, front desk and accounting. Wine knowledge and certifications preferred.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
