Housekeeper
The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas of the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Supervisory responsibilities:
None
Supervision received:
Receives direction and supervision from the Shift Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager on a daily basis.
Position relationships:
Frequent contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization.
Continual contact with guests and visitors.
Education:
A High School education or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of six months in a housekeeping or a customer focused environment is preferred.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary.
Working environment:
The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor and within other Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties as designated with exposure to differentials in temperature.
May be exposed to situations where hazardous chemicals, spills, wet floors of guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate housekeeping machinery for extended periods of time.

Other:
Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in departmental training and development sessions.
