Security, Security Officer

The Osthoff Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused individual to join our Security team!

Security ensures the safety of guests, team members, and the property by patrolling and following lockup procedures.

• Provide prompt friendly and courteous service in all aspects of the job
• Will be on stage when we are at the front desk or visible to our guest and will act accordingly
• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely and efficient manner
• Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Comply with all AAA Four-Diamond service standards.
• Respond to guest or employee inquiries, concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely and efficient manner
• Complete daily security reports, copy and give to the appropriate department heads
• Complete rounds of the resort grounds on a regular basis throughout the scheduled shift
• Complete lock up of resort property on a nightly basis
• Have a complete understanding of the Emergency Procedures
• Have a complete understanding of the Security Officers Handbook
• Respond to all emergencies (911, fire and smoke alarms, etc.) within the resort
• Respond to guest complaints regarding noise, etc.
• All other duties as assigned by department Director and/or Executive Team members

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• High degree of professionalism
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Previous Front Desk Service experience is ideal, but not required
• Basic computer skills
• Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment
• Holiday and weekend availability
• Ability to learn quickly and accurately
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for a period of up to eight hours in addition to occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
