Salary Range: $19.00 To $24.09 Hourly

Vet Pride Services is seeking a Valet Assistant Supervisor in support of valet operations at the Madison VA Hospital. We provide a free vehicle parking and retrieval program for Military Veteran patients. Vet Pride Services prioritizes the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel.

Hourly Rate:$19.00 |
Health & Welfare Fringe Benefit:$5.09 (paid out to you)

Your Health and Welfare Fringe Benefit will be paid to you in cash (not to exceed 40 hours per week). Your total hourly wage will be $24.09.

• Provides assistance to the site supervisor, as needed.
• Greet valet customers in a pro manner upon their arrival/departure.
• Open doors, assist customers as needed with wheelchair or walker.
• Provide directions as needed.
• Perform valet area access control responsibilities.
• Safely operate various vehicles types to/from the valet areas.
• Closely inspect all vehicles for damage and record findings on valet ticket.
• Secure all vehicles and return key tag and keys to the valet podium.
• Follow safe driving procedure and safety protocols at all times.
• Abide by all rules and regulations set by the VA.
• Report to duty in company issued uniform; personal hygiene and a professional appearance is expected at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Will be subject to a pre-employment criminal background and DMV check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Regularly work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, heat and cold.
• Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to respond calmly and professionally when handling conflict.
• Consistent attendance and reliability required.
• Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English.
• Regularly stand for long periods (6-8 hours) and walk quickly.
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work independently and within established guidelines, follow directions, and work well with others.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Technical capabilities and basic computer knowledge.

• Management experience preferred, but not required.
• 1-year experience driving manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valet experience preferred, but not required.
