WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:

The HR Intern supports the Human Resources team by assisting with day-to-day operations across multiple HR functions. This role provides hands-on experience that may include in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. As an intern, you'll gain exposure to HR processes, systems, and best practices while contributing to projects that enhance the employee experience. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, eager to learn, and interested in building a foundation for a career in Human Resources.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

* Assist with posting job openings and monitoring applications.

* Help screen résumés and schedule interviews.

* Support onboarding tasks such as preparing new-hire paperwork, welcome materials and orientation logistics.

HR Operations & Administration

* Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.

* Assist and/or support daily HR administrative tasks including data entry, policy updates, document preparation, reporting, and general HR correspondence.

Employee Experience

* Support employee events, recognition programs and communication initiatives.

General Support

* Provide administrative assistance to the HR team.

* Participate in HR and continuous improvement projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational and communication skills.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

Education and Experience:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous HR or administrative experience (internship, part-time work, volunteer roles).

* Familiarity with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems.
