- Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to line management in managing hourly employees, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions with a high level of confidentiality; elevate complex issues to HR Manager as appropriate.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by working closely with both management and hourly employees to improve work relationships, enhance morale, and drive productivity and retention across the workforce.
- Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day transactional employee questions and concerns, leading by example of our open-door policy.
- Provide on-site support to employees for general benefit-related questions and resolve any benefit-related issues, ensuring compliance with company policies in collaboration with benefits team members.
- Support payroll processing, time and attendance systems, and scheduling for hourly employees. Ensure that all processes are in compliance with company policies.
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salaried/hourly employees, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and administering the hiring process.
- Assist with HR reporting and auditing.
- Support and assist with various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
