JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: User Support Specialist II
LOCATION: Red Cliff Tribal Administration Building
WAGE: $19.50 per hour negotiable depending on experience
SUPERVISOR: Information Technology Director
THIS IS A FULL TIME NON-EXEMPT POSITION
JOB SUMMARYEmployee is responsible for supporting the user requirements, and computing environment, of the Tribal Information Technology Infrastructure; for the broadcast and archival maintenance of Tribal Council Meetings; and the management of the Help Desk system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSUPERVISORY AUTHORITY: None.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of computer and network operating systems, computer and network physical installation and maintenance. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, and applicable specialized user software as necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft Server Operating systems. Knowledge of portable devices and their applicable IOS. Knowledge of audio and video recording equipment. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems rapidly upon demand.
Sufficient knowledge and experience to provide support for the Security Systems Technician. Employee must attend sufficient training to keep their skills current.
PERSONAL CONTACTS: Employee will have daily contact with IT Director, Tribal Employees, and outside contractors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Person must be mobile and can be required to lift a minimum of 75lbs repeatedly. Must be able to scale ladders and obstacles. Must be able to operate hand-held construction machinery.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office is located in the Tribal Administration building. Employee will be working at any location on the Tribal Campus, indoor and outdoor.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Employee will travel locally to Tribal buildings as necessary. May attend trainings or meetings locally or out of the area.

Any behavior or attitude that tarnishes the name or image of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa will be subject to immediate disciplinary action up to and including termination.
