Provides Spanish-English interpreter services in matters pending before the court as well as producing relevant translation of documents. Assists in the coordinating and scheduling of contracted interpreters for court hearings as needed.
Receives supervision from the Clerk of Circuit Court, Deputy Clerk of Court, and Court Supervisor.
Supervision ExercisedSchedule work to contracted interpreters on an as-needed basis.
- Graduation from an accredited 2 or 4 year college or university.
- Two years of court/legal related experience or any equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Mandatory interpreter certification with the Wisconsin Director of State Courts, Office of Court Operations.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
