WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:
As a Summer Supply Chain Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting inventory planning and supply chain operations across a dynamic distribution network. This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world supply chain challenges, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to learn from a fast-paced, knowledgeable team.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities (but not limited to):
* Learn inventory planning strategies to service demand and reduce out-of-stock issues.
* Support supply chain analysis and management of the Distribution Supply Model.
* Monitor open orders to ensure fulfillment and on-time deliveries.
* Communicate with distribution centers and key suppliers regarding production and shipping schedules.
* Contribute to performance metrics and learn how On Time & Full metrics are tracked and improved.
* Assist with internal item setup, product structure creation, and maintenance
* Participate in procurement activities for manufacturing components.
* Help identify and report product and material availability issues.
* Join continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas
* Develop analytical skills by working with supply chain data.
* Collaborate with various departments and participate in team meetings.
* Practice professional oral and written communication in a business environment.
* Learn to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
* Uphold the values of communication excellence, politeness, honor, and integrity.

Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Engineering related field
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
* A desire to dig in and be a doer!
