About the RoleAre you an analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Manufacturing Capacity Planner to support capacity planning and execution while helping drive efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
In this role, you'll act as a key liaison between operations and supply chain teams, partnering to align production capacity with customer demand. From developing capacity plans to identifying constraints and supporting scenario planning, you'll play a critical role in ensuring production plans are achievable and aligned with business priorities.
How You Will Make an Impact- Develop and maintain manufacturing capacity plans, analyzing labor, equipment, and resource constraints to align with demand forecasts
- Partner with supply chain and operations to translate demand into actionable production plans
- Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints, recommending solutions to ensure production continuity
- Perform scenario planning and modeling to evaluate risks and respond to demand fluctuations
- Analyze capacity utilization, throughput, and efficiency data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, tools, and performance
- Support S&OP and planning reviews, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and leadership teams to ensure alignment
- Communicate capacity risks, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate planning data and leverage systems (ERP/MRP) to support visibility and decision-making
- 3–5 years of experience in capacity planning, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with strong accountability and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
- Experience supporting S&OP processes or advanced planning systems
