Sr. Manager, Sourcing and Product Development

Duluth Trading Company seeks a Sr. Manager, Sourcing and Product Development to lead end-to-end development of durable, functional apparel. You will own sourcing strategy, vendor selection, and cost negotiation while partnering with design, merchandising, and planning to deliver innovative, hard working products on time and to margin. This role drives fabric and trim choices, sampling, fit, and quality standards that reflect Duluth's practical, customer first ethos.

You'll analyze supplier performance, mitigate risk, and mentor a small team, influencing the future of a growing, nationally recognized workwear brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and product development for key apparel categories from concept through production launch.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, lead time, and sustainability goals.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage global vendors and factories to meet margin and delivery targets.
• Partner with design, merchandising, and planning to align product features, costing, and timelines with brand strategy.
• Oversee sampling, fit, and testing processes to ensure product durability and performance standards are met.
• Analyze cost drivers, capacity, and lead-time data to optimize supplier mix and calendar adherence.
• Monitor market, fabric, and raw material trends to inform innovation and sourcing decisions.
• Mitigate supply risk by developing alternate sources and contingency plans for critical styles and materials.
• Use KPIs and reports to track vendor performance, margin, on-time delivery, and product quality.
• Coach and mentor team members, promoting collaboration, accountability, and Duluth Trading's practical, customer-focused culture.
