About Us We’re more than a skilled nursing facility — we’re a community of caregivers, residents, and families who take pride in our home. Every department plays a vital role in ensuring our residents live comfortably and safely, and our maintenance team is no exception.
We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Director who’s ready to step into a leadership role while learning from a seasoned professional. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be mentored by our current Maintenance Director, who will be retiring after years of dedicated service. You’ll work side by side, gaining hands‑on training and learning every detail of the building and its systems during a thoughtful transition period.
WhatYou’ll Do
As our Maintenance Director, you’ll help ensure that our residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. You’ll take pride in maintaining the facility, inside and out, and become a key part of the leadership team.
- Learn from and work closely with our current Maintenance Director during an overlap/mentorship period.
- Oversee maintenance of building systems – HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and repair projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations (DHS, CMS, Life Safety Code, OSHA).
- Lead and support maintenance and housekeeping team members.
- Take part in safety drills, emergency planning, and keep our residents’ environment in top condition.
- Have 3–5 years of maintenance experience (healthcare or long‑term care preferred).
- Comfortable with building systems – electrical, plumbing, HVAC and beyond.
- Enjoy working with your hands and solving problems on the spot.
- Have leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership role.
- Organized, safety‑minded, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training a plus).
- Mentorship & Growth – Learn directly from our current Maintenance Director and grow at a steady pace.
- Meaningful Work – Everything you do helps create a better, safer environment for our residents and staff.
- Strong Community – You’ll work with people who truly care about the residents and each other.
- Great Benefits – Competitive pay, health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and more.
