Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Cleaning Services

Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $20.17 an hour + $1.50 shift differential

Maintain offices, cafeteria, corridors, laboratories, restrooms, and all other company premises in a clean and sanitary condition. Perform floor care activities including stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing floors. Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, drinking fountains, and vending machines. Refill and maintain towel, toilet paper, feminine hygiene, hand sanitizer, soap, hand cleaner, and other dispensers throughout the facility. Replace light bulbs and clean light fixtures as needed.

Monitor janitorial supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is required. Stock and organize janitorial closets and storage areas to maintain a safe and orderly workspace. Follow company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work overtime or alternate schedules as needed.

Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and moving equipment. Frequent use of hands for cleaning, stocking, and maintenance activities. Ability to work in varying temperatures and facility environments.
