We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team at Dimensions Living Green Bay. As a vital member of our community, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our assisted living community, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents and staff.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Director
, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime, manage maintenance staff, and coordinate repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

• Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime

• Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors

• Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies

• Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that maintenance and upkeep is aligned with the overall goals of the community

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

• Experience in maintenance or a related field

• Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks
