As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Safety Manager who will lead and continuously improve our company-wide safety culture, programs, and performance.

Position Overview

The Safety Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IVI’s Health and Safety programs. Working collaboratively with leadership, human resources, engineering, project management, and field teams, this role ensures compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations. The Safety Manager serves as the company’s primary safety authority and plays a key role in reducing risk, minimizing incidents, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all operations.

Functions
  • Lead and manage IVI’s company-wide health and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, training programs, and site-specific safety plans.
  • Conduct and oversee jobsite and shop safety audits, accident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Serve as the primary company representative for regulatory inspections, audits, and safety-related interactions.
  • Track, analyze, and report safety performance metrics and continuously improve the organization’s safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective training, presentations, and safety reports.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with employees at all organizational levels, as well as customers, regulatory agencies, and safety professionals.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a construction or industrial environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
