Senior Project Manager Location
Thisis a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and therest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

Summary of RoleThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and successfully delivering complex, high-impact projects across CROPP. This role manages the full project lifecycle, drives strategic initiatives, and mentors junior project managers. The Senior Project Manager partners with senior leadership, leads cross-functional teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while aligning with organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Project Leadership & Strategy – 15% of the time
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex projects and strategic initiatives Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Activation & Delivery – 15% of the time
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Manages multiple complex projects of various durations simultaneously.
- Oversee project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Budget & Resource Management – 15% of the time
- Develop, manage, and report on project budgets and financials.
- Optimize resource utilization and drive cost efficiencies.
- Support business case development and ROI analysis for strategic projects.
- Risk & Issue Management – 15% of the time
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met for all projects.
- Team & Stakeholder Communication – 15% of the time
- Lead and mentor project managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across all project participants.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement– 15% of the time
- Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Conduct post-project reviews, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion process improvement initiatives and requirements gathering.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies- Minimum of five years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or supervising project teams.
- Advanced leadership, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, requirements gathering, and change management principles.
- Formal project management training required.
- CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Advanced budgeting, financial management, and analytical skills.
