Laborer; 1st Shift

Position: Laborer (1st Shift)
Location: Bangor

We are seeking a Laborer for our tie treating plant in Bangor, WI.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:
Shift Details:
Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:00 pm)
Principal Responsibilities:

Applies endplates by hand or machine
Operates banding equipment
Assist in loading and unloading of materials
Assist in loading and unloading charges
Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage
Tag materials with proper product tags
Cut dunnage
Assist in cleaning work areas, painting and maintaining property, plant and equipment
Participates and contributes to company safety program
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

Experience with preventive maintenance and hand tools preferred
License/Certification: N/A

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good eye/hand coordination
Good paperwork skills
Keeps an organized work area
Able to diagnose and trouble shoot potential issues
