- Perform PMAC production, including troubleshooting of production operations and formula verification.
- Perform basic boiler operations, chemical testing of boilers, and boiler maintenance.
- Perform all Terminal tasks and activities including fluid transport, vessel storage, and heat exchange operations and procedures.
- Perform emulsion lab QC testing procedures such as the Penetration Test, Viscosity Test, and the DSR Test for all products, including supporting documentation and reports. Familiarity with product specifications desired but not required.
- Assist, with supervision, in the operation of the emulsion mill.
- Conduct basic preventative and specific plant maintenance tasks.
- Meet and maintain production quotas.
- Demonstrate strong team work/ team building skills.
- Build and maintain positive customer service relations.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of entire facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma;
- Ability to do basic math including using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Basic computer literacy
- Asphalt Terminal experience is a plus but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record as described in company’s policies
- Must be willing to work long hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be flexible with schedule to meet business needs
- May require travel and overnight business needs
- This position requires time spent walking, standing, bending, lifting and sitting.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid conditions, airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration, dust, irritants, chemicals, and noise.
- The noise level in the work environment is frequently very loud and may require protective equipment.
