LaClare Creamery is seeking a motivated and hands‑on Packaging Line Lead to support daily packaging operations. This role plays a key part in leading line‑level production, ensuring food safety compliance, and driving efficiency and team performance.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 5:00am to 3:00pm
Pay: Starting at $26.65/hour
Why You’ll Love This RoleThe Packaging Line Lead is responsible for supervising daily activities on the assigned packaging line, supporting team performance, and ensuring adherence to production schedules, food safety standards, and quality expectations. This role works closely with team members and leadership to improve efficiency, maintain compliance, and deliver consistent, high‑quality products.
What You’ll Do- Lead day‑to‑day activities on the packaging line to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate production.
- Manage line staffing and provide coverage for breaks, absences, and schedule changes.
- Manage raw materials for the line (corrugate, film, case labels, tape, etc.).
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment, including basic maintenance and preventative maintenance coordination.
- Ensure schedule adherence, GMP compliance, and accurate completion of all required documentation.
- Perform regular product quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Support training efforts by assisting with onboarding and development of team members.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes and line efficiency.
- Follow all company food safety and personal safety policies and procedures.
- Promote company values and culture drivers through daily actions.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or food manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and support team members.
- Demonstrated ability to organize tasks, manage time, and support production flow.
- Motivation to learn and grow, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in a fast‑paced production environment. - Ability to lift 50+ pounds continuously and 70+ pounds intermittently; stand for up to 10 hours per day with occasional bending, twisting, climbing, and repetitive motion.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Flexible to various creamery environments to assist as needed.
- Annually complete all trainings within LaClare Creamery Training Matrix.
