The location in Rothschild, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Process Engineer. This job is full-time permanent.

The mill Process Engineer supports team objectives in either Paper Manufacturing or Technical Product Support work streams. Collaborates with full paper team staff to effectively communicate, problem solve and perform critical analysis of data to ensure Continuous Improvement of processes, production reliability, quality validation/troubleshooting. Supports mill teams in meeting KPIs including safety, production, quality and cost controls. Participates in or may own continuous improvement or cost reduction projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Be a role model for Safety by promoting a safe work environment and by engaging in safety initiatives,

* Support high Quality standards by reducing product/quality variability,

* Support New Product Development through data analysis and assisting with product run trials,

* Provide technical assistance to the Production areas by troubleshooting process issues, leading capital projects, and advancing reliability initiatives,

* Performs process control tracking, troubleshooting and data analysis,

* May collaborate with outside technical resources and suppliers to initiate cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process improvement trials,

* Build positive relationships within the hourly workforce and provide technical training on process improvements and process changes that impact safety, quality, costs, operations, and efficiencies,

* Temporary backfill for supervisor absences and production floor support,

* Rotate weekend and weeknight on-call coverage for the Paper / Technical units.

Qualifications:

* BS in Chemical or Pulp & Paper Science, or relevant Engineering field.

* Process familiarity and experience (3-year minimum experience) which demonstrates process troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.

* Paper Mill experience is preferred,

* Working knowledge of MSOffice applications and other business related software systems.
