Estimator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Position Title: Estimator

Wage: $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 08:00 am - 04:00 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

• Reviewing customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop precise and competitive pricing
• Preparing detailed quotes for jobs to be produced in house
• Determining production methods, material needs, and labor requirements for each project
• Collaborating with customers to clarify specifications and ensuring accurate scope definition
• Working closely with internal staff and production teams to align estimating with operational capabilities
• Developing quotes for items sourced from external vendors when applicable
• Maintaining accurate records of quotes, pricing structures, and customer information
• Assisting with general office duties and administrative support
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts through identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and process optimization

• Previous experience in estimating, quoting, or similar fields
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret specifications and technical requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
