- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout, materials, and sequence of operations
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding, cutting, and bending equipment
- Perform MIG, Stick, or other welding techniques as required
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machines to prepare materials and components for welding and assembly
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, ensuring they meet required standards
- Maintain and repair fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards while working with hazardous materials and equipment
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety
- Ensure that all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control measures
- Adhere to project timelines and work within established schedules
- Ability to pass pre‑employment weld test
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in welding or fabrication preferred
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, preferably in manufacturing
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG and Stick welding
- Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, power tools, and machinery
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and instructions
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required
- Experience with CNC machinery or other automated fabrication tools is a plus
- Familiarity with laser cutting, plasma cutting, or other advanced fabrication methods preferred
