Mechanical Assembler
Join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and manufacturing conveyor systems that ensure consumer packaged goods are moved more efficiently and reliably. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in preparing and assembling components by studying assembly instructions and positioning parts and subassemblies according to drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
- Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools.
- Ability to retain information regarding standard assembly/disassembly procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in mechanical assembly or interpreting blueprints is preferred.
- Ability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime as needed.

Work Environment
Work the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. You will be part of a climate-controlled shop, contributing to a team of 80 to 90 full-time employees, including all shifts and office personnel.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oconto, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
