Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Set up, lay out, tack, and weld sheet metal or plate to build customer parts and components according to specifications and prints.;
Tack and weld metal parts together using MIG and/or TIG welding techniques to produce structurally sound assemblies.;
Apply welds safely and precisely to meet quality standards and complete finished products.;
Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials.;
Interpret and follow blueprints and job prints to correctly set up and complete welding jobs.
