Plant Operator - 2nd Shift

We are hiring a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Sturtevant, WI. The role involves checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading waste containers, and operating equipment such as a forklift and autoclave. The ideal candidate enjoys variety and can solve practical problems.

Location: 1340 Grandview Pkwy, Sturtevant, WI 53177

• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers using our Weighbridge
• Operate the autoclave machine to sterilize waste
• Manage the Washsmart system for container washing and sanitization
• Drive a forklift and handle hand trucks after training
• Lift up to 55 lbs and push/pull carts weighing as much as 200 lbs
• Ensure accuracy in paperwork processing
• Stand for extended periods comfortably
• Work collaboratively with team members

• Experience in labor-intensive jobs involving repetitive lifting of 50-75 lbs containers
