Welder - 1st shift

Location: Evansville

Blue Scope Steel -  - Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.;
Prepare and Set Up:
Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools;
Lift and Position Materials:
Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.;
Ensure Quality:
Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.;
Contribute to Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
