Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Galesville, WI. The Welder is responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Laser), including reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and fabricating metal components (primarily stainless steel) to meet quality and safety standards. Day-to-day duties include metal preparation, welding processes, inspecting welds for accuracy and structural integrity, and maintaining welding tools and work areas.

The role also involves collaborating with fabrication and production team members to meet project timelines, following safety protocols, and contributing to efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in core Welding skills, including experience with a range of welding applications.
  • Demonstrated ability with MIG Welding and TIG Welding techniques for fabrication.
  • Experience with TIG Welding for precision and high-quality welds on stainless steel.
  • Knowledge of Materials used in metal fabrication, including properties and appropriate welding methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform quality inspections on welds.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills, with reliability in meeting deadlines and production goals.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant welding certifications or technical training are beneficial.
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic are the principle qualifications.
