Manufacturing Supervisor – 2nd Shift
The Production Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a compact team, preparing financial forecasts, conducting performance appraisals, maximizing manufacturing performance metrics, ensuring thorough training in processes and safety protocols, maintaining adherence to specifications, implementing Lean methodologies, and overseeing manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality products/services.
Responsibilities- Manage a compact team, supervise efficient task execution and productivity.
- Conduct performance appraisals and develop financial forecasts and annual plans.
- Align decisions with organizational goals and ensure strategic financial direction.
- Maximize manufacturing performance metrics, improve productivity, equipment utilization, and efficiency metrics.
- Provide ongoing training on production processes and health & safety protocols.
- Ensure adherence to specifications and oversee manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality products/services.
- Prioritize operator competence and safety.
- Implement Lean methodologies and seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in production.
- Four or more years of experience with vocational education in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent; or a bachelor’s degree (no prior experience).
- Bachelor’s Degree or vocational education in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
- Must be able to successfully perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
- Lean Leadership training/certification.
- US work authorization required; the company will not consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
Onsite role on the 2nd shift. Must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville, PA. No relocation benefits are provided.
Compensation & BenefitsThe pay range for this position in PA is $67,500 to $108,000 annually. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401(k) (up to 7% match), HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
