Production Trainer 3 – 1st Shift
Deliver operator training on manufacturing processes, equipment, safety, quality, and work instructions while continuously expanding cross‑training capabilities, improving training materials, and partnering with production, engineering, quality, and People Function teams to identify needs, measure effectiveness, and support ongoing operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Deliver classroom and on‑the‑job training for new and existing production operators using demonstrations, hands‑on practice, e‑learning, and job aids.
- Assess competence through practical and written evaluations.
- Gain cross‑training across multiple lines, equipment, and processes to ensure broad operational coverage.
- Maintain proficiency through refresher training and support multiple shifts as a backup trainer.
- Create, update, and standardize SOPs, work instructions, checklists, visuals, and e‑learning content.
- Use adult‑learning best practices and continuously improve materials based on feedback and training outcomes.
- Ensure all training aligns with safety, quality, and regulatory standards such as OSHA, GMP, and ISO.
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports for audits and leadership.
- Partner with supervisors and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and prioritize training needs.
- Support onboarding, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, competency management, and succession planning.
- High School Diploma, Vocational Training, or equivalent (no additional certifications required).
- 1+ years of experience in End Item Transducer Testing is preferred; manufacturing, testing operations, or quality monitoring experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Manufacturing Principles, Digital Literacy, Machine Operations, Quality Monitoring, Recordkeeping, Precision Machining, and Equipment Setup (preferred).
- Capacity to perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
Pay range: $18.10 to $28.96 per hour (plus overtime eligible).
