Production Associate

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday, Overtime on Saturday)

• Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals
• Load meat into machine(s) and/or combos and/or v-mags using appropriate tools and techniques
• Set up and operate grinder, mixing and packaging machinery
• Add ingredients to batch
• Load meat racks, pushing meat trucks from one area to another, visually monitoring meat for quality
• Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition
• Ensure product conforms to specifications
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre‑requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work area
• Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly
• Prevent and minimize rework and/or in‑edibles

• Able to stand, walk, reach and bend throughout shift
• Able to lift up to 10-25lbs occasionally and up to 50-100lbs rarely
• Able to push and pull up to 50-75lbs
• Able to use hands repetitively
• Able to work in 35-40 degrees environments
• Able to tolerate the smell of raw meat, cheese, and various spices
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to be flexible and responsive to changing production needs
• Able to follow verbal and written directions
• Basic math skills
