JOB TITLE:
Pouring Operator/Furnace
SUMMARY: Pour hot metal into molds and monitor, clean and fill furnaces to melt metal prior to casting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for full‑time positions on 1st shift.
Current Work ScheduleMonday – Thursday, 10 hours
Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for overtime based off production requirements – currently working Fridays and a couple Saturdays a month
1st shift – 4:30am to 2:30pm
Requirements PRECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Respiratory test

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and process sheets.
- Ability to effectively interact with other employees at Bremer.
- Complete time cards.
- Read temperature gauges.
- Compute sum, average, range and tolerance using whole numbers.
- Record temperature data on SPC charts according to customer specifications.
- Ability to plan ahead and prepare furnace for subsequent orders.
- Make adjustments for differences in heat and gas to maintain quality of metal according to customer specifications.
- Ability to use safety precautions (i.e. temperature of parts and tools).
