Job DescriptionThe Parts making Specialist is responsible for producing components for the highest‑end product lines. This role focuses on the fabrication of frames, panels, fiberglass parts, and metal components using cutting tools, saws, and measurement equipment. This role ensures every part meets specifications through frequent quality checks, adherence to strict safety standards, and consistent accuracy across complex builds.
PayStarting pay at $21.25 per hour
Automatic pay increases at 90 days and 6 months
Sign‑on bonus of $1,500 paid out in two installments at 30 days and 90 days
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am - 3:30pm;
Friday, 6am - 10am (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
Fabricate high‑quality frames, panels, fiberglass parts, and metal components using saws, cutting tools, and specialized equipment.
Set up, operate, and adjust machinery and cutting tools to meet precise specifications and tolerances.
- Rip or tenon parts accurately and inspect for defects and appearance.
- Measure and record quality data using tape measures, micrometers, and gauges.
- Notify supervisor if raw material does not meet specifications.
- Assist with annual inventory and support other departments as assigned.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
- Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets.
- Ability to operate woodworking machinery and basic computer numerical control (CNC) equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with measurement devices and units of measure.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem‑solving, adaptability, and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully in a team setting.
- Lift up to 100 lbs. at waist level and up to 70 lbs. at shoulder level occasionally.
- Push or pull up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally.
- Generate up to 100 lbs. of grip strength and 20 lbs. of pinch strength occasionally.
- Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day).
- Stand continuously and walk frequently during shifts.
- Stoop, kneel, squat, and reach forward or sideways as needed.
- Perform occasional elevated work when handling products.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred; job‑specific experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings.
- Training timeline for this position is up to 8 weeks.
