Department: Production

Job Title: Production Team Member

Starting Rate: 1st - $19.65/hr, 2nd - $20.65/hr, 3rd & WKD - $21.65/hr

Classification: Medium to heavy

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non‑Exempt

Shift Times:

  • 1st shift – 10 hours:
    Monday–Thursday 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 2nd shift – 10 hours:
    Monday–Thursday 2:45 PM – 1:15 AM
  • 3rd shift – 10 hours:
    Monday–Thursday 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • WKD shift – 12 hours:
    Friday–Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Shift times and lengths vary depending on department and shift.

Paid breaks are 1–15 minutes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts and 2–15 minutes for WKD shift. Lunch breaks are 1–30 minutes unpaid.

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: None required; on‑the‑job training provided. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Reports to: Full‑time supervisor

Role Overview: Hourly production team members are responsible for the day‑to‑day manufacturing of orders received by customers. Orders include architectural, residential, and commercial units, stalls, railings, windows, walls, doors, and more. Ideal candidates seek long‑term employment opportunities and are interested in leadership, team building, and process improvement.

Dress Code / Protective Gear: Work gloves, safety glasses, steel‑toed or composite shoes. Certain departments require supplied cut‑resistant clothing.

Essential Functions
  • Read, comprehend, and execute production/scheduling plan.
  • Operate machinery and manipulate controls.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, with team lifting as needed.
  • Push/pull tables and racks of glass.
  • Communicate verbally with team members to coordinate tasks.
  • Support a safe working environment by addressing safety concerns.
  • Report weekly punches and time edits.
  • Collaborate with managers and other team members.
  • Follow facility policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Solicit feedback to improve departmental function and morale.
  • Behave ethically and treat fellow team members with respect and dignity.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully through all mediums.
  • Participate in required trainings.
  • Use email, phones, radios, and in‑person communications.
