Operates Punch Presses by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must pass Fabrication Test by 90-day anniversary date.
- Selects proper punch and die tooling from setup specs.
- Sets-up, adjusts, and operates Punch Press to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of work.
- Inspects parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection data.
- Cleans and organizes work area.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization in small groups or one‑on‑one.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
