In this role you will operate laser/turret equipment in accordance to quality and production standards. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Set up and operate turret and laser cutting equipment to produce quality metal components that meet blueprint and MPE specifications
• Load and unload raw materials using manual lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts
• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment, including tooling changes, sharpening, calibrations, nozzle alignment, and focus lens cleaning
• Operate Inspec Vision scanning equipment and complete required quality and process verifications in ERP
• Set up and operate automated sheet loaders, EMLK, and Apelio equipment
• Cross-train and assist with shakeout (part separation), deburring, hardware insertion, and press brake operations as production needs require
• Follow all MPE safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1-3 years of set up and running laser/turret equipment or CNCs
• Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Knowledge on the use of measuring tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and height gauges
• Quality checks experience

• Regularly required to use hands tools and power tools
• Must be able to read and follow directions
