Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel, typically around 16 gauge, to produce high-quality welds that meet dairy, pharmaceutical, and food-grade standards.;
Work directly from blueprints, reading and interpreting welding symbols and process specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.;
Use fabrication equipment and tools as needed, including grinding, polishing, and operating brake presses when departments require additional support.;
Grind and polish small welds using hand and power tools to achieve smooth, clean finishes suitable for food and beverage applications.;
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments according to established procedures and specifications.;
Assist in the fabrication and welding of food and beverage products such as cabinet washers, tanks, pressure systems, and tunnel washers as assigned.;
Set up welding equipment and accessories independently, ensuring proper parameters and configurations for each job.;
Clean and maintain the work area regularly, following safety and housekeeping standards to support a safe and organized shop.;
Collaborate with team members across multiple departments, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist where needed.
