Rotogravure Imaging Technical Lead
Quad is currently searching for a Roto Gravure Imaging Technical Lead for our Lomira, WI location. The purpose of this job is to support Gravure Imaging equipment uptime, best practices, and related consumable usage/supply chain management while maintaining customer quality and delivery expectations. This includes gravure cylinder equipment used for cylinder base repair, Ballard shell removal, electromechanical engraving, copper and chrome electro-plating lines, all cylinder transport/storage equipment, and cylinder and parts cleaning equipment.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and/or maintaining Gravure Imaging cylinder manufacturing equipment, copper & chrome electro plate lines, engraving equipment, Ballard shell removal equipment, work in progress (W.I.P.) & long term storage (LTS) systems and overhead cranes, providing copper and chrome electro plate line chemistry control and auditing, applying maintenance control system to monitor equipment needs, collaborating with plant production support personnel for safe and proficient equipment needs, collaborating with equipment vendors for safe and proficient equipment needs, supporting monitoring and best practices as it relates to supply chain, supporting miscellaneous production duties when demand volumes peak, and implementing training material and best practices related to all production and equipment support needs.
Job requirements include appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis.
Education:
High School Diploma or higher education. Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Prefer past experience in production/manufacturing environment, an aptitude towards rotogravure print workflows and mechanical machine repair. Knowledge of the cylinder Ballard shell process is helpful. Physical demands include manual dexterity, physical effort, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
