Experienced Tooling Machinist
-2nd or 3rd Shift

We are seeking an Experienced Tooling Machinist to support advanced tooling and mold-building operations. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who enjoys precision work, problem-solving, and contributing expertise in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Independently operate a surface grinder to sharpen steel punches and dies
  • Perform machining, drilling, CNC operations, and programming with minimal supervision
  • Build, modify, and complete molds using drills, mills, saws, lathes, and CNC equipment
  • Troubleshoot tooling and machining issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and production teams to support manufacturing needs
  • Maintain machines, tools, and work areas following 5S and safety standards
  • Model good manufacturing practices and mentor less experienced team members

What You Bring

  • Strong background in machining, tool & die, mold making, or die making
  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience operating surface grinders and CNC equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tooling drawings
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
