Lathe Machinist
As a Lathe Machinist, you will operate a variety of CNC lathes, ensuring the production of precision parts in accordance with print specifications. Your responsibilities will include reading blueprints and CAD/CAM programs, selecting and setting tooling and offsets, performing first-article inspections, monitoring run conditions, and documenting production data.
Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints and CAD/CAM programs.
Select and set tooling and offsets for machines.
Perform first-article inspections to ensure accuracy.
Monitor run conditions and make necessary adjustments.
Document production data accurately.
Experience with CNC Lathe Machining.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Ability to edit G&M codes.
Experience in multi-spindle turning.
Capability to fully set up machines from start to finish.
Multi-spindle experience, ideally 6-8 years.
Ability to edit programs at the machine utilizing G&M codes.
Engage in project-based work that supports data center growth, with guaranteed work through the end of the year.
Work in a typical machine shop setting on either the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, Monday through Friday.
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
The pay range for this position is $38.00/hr.
This is a fully onsite position in Houston, TX.
This position is anticipated to close on Aug 20, 2026.
