Maximize your work-life balance with a 3-day work week! We are hiring a Weekend CNC Setup Machinist for a premier, climate-controlled precision manufacturing facility in Big Bend, WI. Serving aerospace, defense, and medical sectors, this facility provides year-round work stability, cutting-edge machine tools, and a supportive team culture.
Core Responsibilities- Execute independent setups and run CNC mills and turning centers for complex precision parts.
- Monitor tool wear, adjust tool page offsets, and maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring hand tools.
- Troubleshoot setup and mechanical issues to ensure consistent weekend production flow.
- Read engineering drawings and strictly follow GD&T requirements.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience with 1+ years executing independent setups on mills or lathes.
- Strong technical fundamentals:
Blueprint reading, G&M codes, and GD&T concepts. - High Reliability:
Dedicated commitment to the Friday–Sunday 12-hour day schedule. - Work History:
Solid employment track record demonstrating long-term tenure and attendance. - Proximity:
Living within a comfortable commute of Big Bend, WI.
