Tool and Die Maker

JARP Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to support production of custom hydraulic cylinders and components. In this hands-on role, you will build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in CNC machining and fabrication. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using manual and CNC equipment, performing close-tolerance machining, troubleshooting tooling issues on the shop floor, and collaborating with engineering and production teams.

You'll help improve manufacturing processes, support new product launches, and ensure quality, safety, and uptime in a close-knit, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for hydraulic cylinder production
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to produce close-tolerance tooling
• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and related shop equipment
• Diagnose and correct tooling and die issues impacting production quality or uptime
• Perform precision measurements and inspections using micrometers, gauges, and related tools
• Collaborate with engineering and production to support new product launches and process improvements
• Maintain documentation for tooling changes, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and 5
• S/housekeeping standards in the toolroom and shop floor
