Senior Production Assembler – Wire Harness
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Production Assembler to join their growing manufacturing team in Roberts, WI. This position plays a key role in building complex wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical products while supporting quality, training, and continuous improvement efforts on the production floor. Key Responsibilities• Assemble complex wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical components from drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, labeling, termination, and connector assembly
• Support prototype builds, first-article inspections, and new product introductions
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production documentation
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, workmanship, and compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and assist with rework and repairs as needed
• Train and mentor less experienced assemblers on assembly techniques, tooling, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and traceability documentation
• Support production goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
• High school diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of wire harness, cable assembly, electromechanical assembly, or related manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Experience using crimpers, wire strippers, cutters, torque tools, and other assembly equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 experience (Class 2 or Class 3 preferred)
• IPC-A-610 familiarity
• Experience supporting prototype or first-article builds
• Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S principles
