Job description:

We are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus and an excellent starting wage.

Shifts Available:

Sun-Thu 8PM-4

AMMon-Fri 10AM-6

PMMon-Fri 12PM-8

Position Summary:

Repairs and maintains equipment and infrastructure at the production facilities and warehouse operations. Performs daily and weekly preventive maintenance programs to insure efficient operation of mechanical equipment. Maintains a positive working relationship with other departments throughout the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains Production and Facility equipment

Prompt and effective response and resolution to work orders (checklist & reports)
Maintains and checks tool and material inventory level. Communicates to Foreman and/or Lead if additional supplies are required.

Conducts regularly and visual inspection (reports) of facility and equipment in order to determine repairs and communicates potential equipment failure and/or issues.

Conducts preventive maintenance work required (cleaning, lubricating, greasing, oiling) to ensure optimum working order.

Key Activities:

Effective Communication with associates and management

Follows proper operating procedures

Prioritize work orders by considering the importance of the work and the time needed to complete the work.

Recognizes and repairs malfunctions in processing, filling and ancillary equipment

Inform supervisor or management of any issues with materials or product

Completes all documents accurately as required.

Maintains adequate hand tool supply to perform maintenance repairs in an acceptable craftsmanship manner

Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position.

Responsible for following Safety (OSHA) regulations and procedures.

FollowGMP’s, sanitation procedures ,and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Foreman, or other Management.

Skills Required:

Hands-on can-do mentality

Troubleshooting

Basic PLC Skills (Preferred)
Basic knowledge of electrical meter and trouble shooting.

Communication Knowledge of Good Management Practices Positive Safety attitude

Welding Experience Necessary

Experience:

High School or equivalent5 years experience in a manufacturing environment

Machine Operations (Preferred)
Food Manufacturing (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
