CNC Machine Operator

• Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs). Lathes, and drill presses after the initial training period.
• Load and secure raw materials, fixtures, and tooling into machines.
• Perform routine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) to verify part accuracy.
• Conduct and document in-process and final inspections according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate quality records.

• Perform daily machine checks, including lubrication, coolant levels, and general condition.
• Report equipment issues or malfunctions immediately to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Follow all operational procedures accurately and consistently.
• Actively participate in training to improve machining skills and technical knowledge.
• Suggest and support process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
