Save More Food Market is seeking a dependable and motivated Overnight Baker to join the Bakery Department at our Minocqua location
. This position receives an overnight pay premium in addition to the regular hourly wage
.

The Overnight Baker is responsible for preparing the bakery for the day by baking fresh products, frying donuts, and ensuring everything is ready for our customers each morning.

• Prepare, bake, and finish breads, rolls, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products
• Fry, glaze, fill, frost, and decorate donuts
• Follow established recipes, production schedules, and portion standards
• Monitor ovens, fryers, proofers, and other bakery equipment
• Ensure products meet our standards for freshness, appearance, taste, and quality
• Package, label, price, and stock completed bakery products
• Maintain appropriate production levels while minimizing waste
• Keep work areas, equipment, utensils, and floors clean and sanitary
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and fryer-safety procedures
• Assist with inventory, ingredient rotation, and preparation for upcoming production
• Work independently to complete daily production and have the bakery ready for opening

• Must be dependable and comfortable working independently overnight
• Previous bakery, donut-frying, restaurant, or food‑production experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Ability to follow recipes, production plans, and food‑safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality products
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete production by established deadlines
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be available to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
